In  August's article, The Cookie Jar, we talked about God-inspired dreams and visions, and His interpretation of such. Not long after sharing the gist of that article with another prayer warrior, she informed me of a vision she had while in prayer.

She said she had seen a huge clock with the hands pointing ten to twelve. I shared with her what came to me.

"Most people think the number seven means completion but in reality it means perfection, when looking at Biblical numerology. It is actually the number ten that means completion. We get than from observation of various Biblical examples. We see that ten represents the ending of a cycle. We are in the last Church Age...and the ten minutes to twelve means we are in the last part of this cycle".

She responded, "Wow...I didn't know that"!

As I have written before, the Bible interprets itself. When something means a particular thing in one book, it is consistent in its' meaning throughout the Bible.

We have been studying the Revelation in our Thursday night Bible Study at church, and have recently finished up the Seven Churches (Rev. 1-3). We learned that these churches were not only a depiction of those original churches in Asia Minor, but were also a prophecy of the future (now completed except this last one) of the seven Church AGES. The last one was/is the Laodicean Church.

This is the church that will witness the coming of the Lord in glory, and most will be left behind. Because these nominal churches are neither hot nor cold, the Lord said He will spit (vomit) them out of His mouth. It is shocking to think that the first Sunday after the Rapture, most of the same cars will be in the parking lots at most  neighborhood churches!

The Scripture tells of over 40 signs of the coming of the Lord. Although the Bible tells us no one knows the day nor the hour when our Lord will return, the Word is filled with many indicators or conditions we can use to determine how close we may be to the season of Christ's return. Believe me, we are CLOSE!

One sign is in Matthew 24:14 which tells us the "Gospel shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations...and then shall the end come".

At the same time there will be a mixture of believers and false believers within the Church body, (Matt. 13:24-30).

Jesus tells a parable likening the kingdom of heaven as a man sowing good seed in his field. While men slept, his enemy came in and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. When the blade grew and put forth fruit, the servants told him bad seed was growing up with the good seed in his field. He said an enemy had done this. The servants asked if he wanted them pull out the tares, but he said to do that would uproot the wheat. The master said, "Let them grow up together until harvest. At that time I will tell the reapers to bind up the tares into bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn".

This is what is happening in the churches today...while MEN SLEEP, the enemy sneaks in and sows weeds and even thorns, then slips out the back door. When the crop comes in we've got a mess. But the righteous will not suffer the judgment of the unrighteous. They will be gathered into HEAVEN.

Another sign the
Bible tells us of the end times will be people doubting the Lord's return (or scoffers):
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation" (2 Pet.3:3-4).

Humanity will be able to cross the globe rapidly and science will be advancing: "Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge" (Dan.12:4).
We in this generation, are in an unparalleled knowledge explosion!

"Perilous times will come for mankind in the last days" (2 Tim.3:1). Yep, we are in a LOT of peril!

Mankind will deny God once flooded the earth: "For this they WILLINGLY are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished" (2 Pet. 3:5-6). Today's scientists KNOW the truth, yet are determined to teach the heresy of evolution to our kids. Almost every ancient culture refers to a great flood of the past. Guess the ignorant had more sense than today's educated fools!

The signs go on and on, telling of wars, disease, famines, earthquakes where they've never been before, and so many things we thought science had conquered and problems we thought were solved.

Spirits of lawless, murder, sexual perversion, and moral decay seems to be released on today's world at the same time! False prophets and false teachers, religious cults, violence, drugs, idolatry, adultery, marriage and family in jeopardy, and people without natural affection. Children without parental respect and parents leaving or even killing their children.

I know many of these signs have been present in every generation, but ours is the first to see them ALL TOGETHER!

Ezekiel 37 and Isaiah 66 spoke of a nation born in a day. This was fulfilled on May 14, 1948 when Israel became a nation. Then Israel won a war in six days and took possession of Jerusalem, in 1967. I remember that one!

Aliyah is happening even as you read this! Aliyah is the Hebrew word used to describe the physical return of the Jewish people, the children of Israel, to their ancient Promised Land, Zion. In Ezekiel 36:24, God promised that he would take the descendants of Abraham back to their Promised Land from all the nations of the world, where He had scattered them. I never thought I'd see the Jewish people leave the safety and affluence of America, to return to the insecurity of their persecuted homeland, yet I heard that more Jews have left the USA to move to Israel this past year than all the previous years put together!

Personally, I  had a huge question answered concerning Bible prophecy. When I was in Bible school in the 1960's, I remember wondering how could it be that the whole world would actually see the 2 witnesses in Revelation 11 lay dead on the street in Jerusalem for over 3 days, then come back to life and rise into Heaven!? After watching the Gulf War via SATELLITE, in my own home, I knew how it would be possible! What a time to be alive...how the old prophets and the church forefathers would have loved to see their prophecies fulfilled!

As a result of our modern technology, we can now see how the Antichrist will be able to track people all over the world. We are now almost a 97% cashless society, our pets have chips in them in case they get lost, our cars have built in tracking devices, and all in the name of personal safety...how clever! The bar codes on  most of our goods don't have to leap very far onto our hands, which shall also be introduced as a pretense for our personal safety.

In conclusion, I must say...Yes, my friends, it IS ten minutes to midnight...that is the time the Jewish Bridegroom arrives. Are you ready?!

God Bless You All,
Pastor Moser
